Labs are hands-on, intensive build sessions where you leave with tangible work done. Workshops are shorter skill-building sessions focused on learning new strategies, frameworks, and tools. Both feature interactive activities and guided AI-powered exercises that help you turn ideas into action and apply concepts in real time. Members get unlimited access to both.
No. You do not need to be an Empressa member to attend the Portfolio Operator Lab. There are 2 event passes you can choose from:
The Builder Pass ($199) includes a 2-hour guided build experience where you uncover, organize, and showcase the value you’ve already built—and leave with a completed Value Portfolio.
The Accelerator Pass ($499) includes everything in the Builder Pass, plus the full 4-hour Lab experience, extended build time, a live Portfolio Accelerator, and personalized guidance from the Imperial Council to help you turn your portfolio into a tangible next move.
And if you decide to keep building with Empressa after the Lab, 50% of your ticket price can be applied toward an annual Empressa AI membership when you join within 30 days of the event.
That way, you can continue the momentum without paying full price twice.
Pathwise is a required first step because your results become the foundation for the Value Portfolio you’ll build during Operator Lab. It helps surface your goals, strengths, challenges, and current stage so you’re not starting from a blank page.
During the Lab, you’ll use those insights to identify the value you’ve already created, organize it into your portfolio, and decide what to build or activate next. Without Pathwise, you won’t have the starting inputs needed to complete the portfolio experience.
The Empressathon is Empressa’s signature build event. Through a structured sprint, participants use proven frameworks and AI-powered tools to solve business challenges, accelerate progress on key initiatives, and create actionable plans for growth.
There’s always something happening at Empressa. We typically host workshops twice a month, Operator Labs every six weeks, networking experiences, and special programs throughout the year.

Simply select the event you’d like to attend and complete registration online. Members can register directly through their dashboard in Heartbeat, while non-members can purchase tickets for eligible public events.
